Blue Tomato Madrid was recorded in 2009 as a promotional mix for a planned Blue Tomato event in Madrid.
The mix was created to showcase the soundtrack and atmosphere of the club night ahead of the event, featuring the kind of uplifting house music that Blue Tomato had become known for. Although the Madrid event ultimately never went ahead, the mix was completed and has remained tucked away in my archive ever since.
Rather than let it stay unheard, I thought it deserved to be shared as part of my podcast collection.
Expect a blend of funky, vocal and commercial house, capturing the sound I was playing at the time.
