Uplifted 2 was recorded especially for Euroskipride, which took place in Saalbach, Austria in 2010.
The mix follows the uplifting and progressive house sound I was really enjoying at the time, with melodic builds and a slightly deeper, trance influenced feel running through it.
Euroskipride was organised by promoter Steve Morris, who created an amazing event bringing people together for music, skiing and celebration in the Austrian Alps. Steve is sadly no longer with us, but he will always be remembered for the energy and passion he brought to the scene.

My Ride 2 EuroSki Pride 2010 mix, recorded to get people in the mood for the EuroSki Pride event in Saalbach, Austria, which took place 20–27 March 2010.
EuroSki Pride combined great skiing with a packed week of parties and events in the Austrian Alps, bringing together people from across Europe for a unique Pride celebration on the slopes. I was lucky enough to be part of the line up that year, playing across the week.
This mix reflects the kind of sound that worked perfectly for the event, a blend of funky and commercial house designed to warm things up before heading out for a night in the mountains.

Ultra Dirt 8 keeps the series rolling with more dirty house tracks and a strong underground club feel.
This mix stays true to the Ultra Dirt sound, darker, tougher and more twisted than the funky house sets many people already knew me for. By now, the series had become a favourite with listeners who liked their house music with a harder edge.

Ultra Dirt 9, Gambo’s Mad One, is a special mix in the Ultra Dirt series.
The name came from someone who started following the podcast after hearing the earlier Ultra Dirt mixes. Ben, better known by his nickname Gambo, became a regular listener and supporter of the series and over time turned into a good friend as well.
This mix was named after him and keeps the Ultra Dirt sound going strong, darker, dirtier house tracks with twisted basslines, driving beats and plenty of attitude.
By this point the series had built a strong following, bringing in a lot of new listeners who enjoyed the tougher side of house compared to the funkier mixes I was also releasing.

Uplifted! is a chilled mix featuring uplifting progressive house sounds.
This set brings together melodic house tracks with warm grooves, smooth builds and uplifting energy. It is a slightly more laid back style compared to some of my club mixes, making it perfect for relaxed listening while still keeping that progressive house drive.

This mix was recorded especially for the Tonker club night at The Eagle in Vauxhall, London, where I was playing on 27 February 2009.
Tonker was a well known night on the London gay club scene, created by DJ Tim Jones. Known for its high energy dancefloor and strong house music policy, the night attracted a loyal crowd and guest DJs from across the UK.
This mix reflects the kind of music that worked perfectly for the Tonker crowd, driving house tracks, big beats and plenty of dancefloor energy.

Ultra Dirt 7 carries on the series with another dose of darker beats, filthy basslines and driving house rhythms.
The Ultra Dirt mixes had really taken on a life of their own by now, bringing in a different crowd and showing another side to my DJ style. This mix keeps that late-night, tougher club atmosphere running throughout.
